Crown
A crown resembles a natural tooth in shape and color. It is made from ceramic, a strong, durable, and aesthetic material that protects your tooth and restores its natural strength.
This treatment should be considered when the tooth to be restored is severely damaged by decay or a filling, when the remaining healthy tooth structure is weak, and when placing a filling would increase the risk of tooth fracture. It is also recommended when the tooth has undergone root canal treatment. A crown can also correct the position, shape, or color of a tooth.
Thanks to CEREC technology, we usually perform the treatment in a single appointment. More expensive than a restoration, a crown is the most durable option in the long term.
Targeted Relief
Therapeutic & Aesthetic Botox
The use of Botox, a botulinum toxin, temporarily relaxes targeted muscles. We can use this procedure for problems such as:
- Bruxism and teeth clenching
- TMJ pain
- Chronic headaches
- Muscle tension
Therapeutic Botox injections, alone or in combination with other treatments, will provide relief lasting approximately 3 to 6 months.
Restored Radiance
Teeth Whitening
Whitening is a treatment that lightens the color of teeth to give the patient a brighter smile.
But before beginning this treatment, it is important to ensure there are no cavities and/or defective fillings through an examination. A cleaning is strongly recommended to remove deposits and stains.
Whitening is performed using plastic trays into which you apply a peroxide-based gel. You will need to wear them every day for 2 to 3 weeks, for a few hours per day.
It is important to know that whitening will have no effect on existing restorations, bridges, crowns, and veneers; these will remain their current color. If they are in the aesthetic zone of your smile, they will likely need to be replaced after whitening to match the new shade of your teeth. Moreover, it is impossible to predict the outcome as it may vary from patient to patient.
